If you’ve ever suspected you — or your child — might have ADHD, you’ve probably hit the same wall: free quizzes that don’t really tell you anything, or a specialist evaluation that means a long waitlist and a bill in the hundreds or thousands. Most people give up somewhere in the middle.
We built Vextara to be that missing middle step. It pairs the structured DSM-5 intake clinicians rely on with a short, objective attention test you take at home — then a licensed clinician reads the results against age norms and tells you what to do next. Objective evidence, a real human behind it, in days rather than months, for a fraction of the usual cost.

Who’s behind Vextara
A team that has spent its career widening access to mental-health care.
Tamir is a psychiatrist and healthcare entrepreneur focused on expanding access to affordable mental-health care. He founded and leads Mindful Care, which pioneered the psychiatric urgent-care model in the U.S. and brought same-day mental-health care to patients across multiple states.
He earned his MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, completed residency and fellowship training at Northwell Health, and conducted behavioral-health research at Yale School of Medicine. He founded Vextara to bring that same access-first philosophy to ADHD assessment.
Mairav is a clinical psychologist with more than two decades of experience across clinical practice, academic research, and digital-health leadership. She is licensed in both the U.S. and Israel and has published peer-reviewed research.
She has served as a chief science officer in digital health and as a university lecturer, translating clinical science into products people actually use. At Vextara she leads clinical standards — making sure every assessment is grounded in evidence and that a licensed clinician stands behind every result.
